As a young boy I spent lots of hours with my father in his self-made darkroom. Watching b&w pictures being developed, excited me. Through these hours I learned to understand the principles of photography, and gradually I was "hooked".

Today, photographing landscapes and nature is my favourite activity. Every time I go out to take pictures, I try to challenge myself in seeing and capturing scenerys and details in new ways. 

I've never been disappointed by nature, and I'm in no need of going far to find exciting objects. My experience is that the best shots very often are taken closer to home than expected.
